According to latest statistics, the number of people aged 100 and above in the UK has increased twofold from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
From 2004 and 2024, the figure of male individuals reaching 100 has increased threefold from 910 to 3,100. Over the identical period, the number of women aged 100 or over increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are eager to receive stories from centenarians, their relatives or close ones, about what it has been like to live through the past century’s transformative changes and changes.
